Cutting Strings Under the Lunar Eclipse

A couple of nights ago, driving home from dance class, I was met with a breathtaking sight: the lunar eclipse. The moon hung massive in the sky, glowing a deep, fiery orange. It was one of those moments where nature takes your breath away and, at the same time, reminds you of something bigger.

This full moon carried a powerful message: a time to release. The idea is to cut strings from past versions of ourselves, to let go of what no longer serves us. And while that might sound mystical, it’s deeply practical. Because the way we speak to ourselves—the stories we repeat in our minds—becomes the reality we live in. Our inner dialogue eventually shows up in our outer world.

For me, this eclipse was a reminder to pause and ask: What am I still carrying that doesn’t serve me? What old patterns, self-talk, or identities am I ready to release?

The truth is, no matter what your spiritual beliefs may be, the practice of releasing the past makes sense. Whether you call it energy, faith, God, or simply mindset—it’s about choosing what resonates with you and deciding to cut away what drags you down.

I want to challenge you: take inventory of the strings you’re still holding onto. Old doubts, negative self-talk, relationships, or habits that keep you stuck. This is the perfect moment to let them go. And once you’ve cut those ties, make sure you replace the empty space with something that uplifts you—healthy practices, empowering words, supportive people.

If you need help with that process, reach out. I’d love to support you in filling those spaces with things that actually serve your growth, your health, and your joy.
